       Sharks Never Give Up, They Keep Swimming 

Welcome to Memorial West Swim Team, home of the Sharks! We are a summer swim team that is a part of Memorial Spring Branch Swim Club (MSBSC). The MSBSC is a 100% volunteer run, recreational youth summer swim league that runs from May through June. Our swimmers range from 4 to 18 years of age. Shark coaches will work on refining their stroke, diving, increasing speed while learning to be a part of a team and value good sportsman like conduct.

Our goal is to promote a supportive yet competitive environment that is family friendly. Swimmers will compete in swim meets against other teams in MSBSC and will have a chance to qualify for Meet of Champs, which is the last weekend in June.

Half Lappers Program

This program is for kiddos between the ages of 4-5 who cannot yet swim the length of the pool independently and who do not feel comfortable swimming without  assistance. Kids must be able to follow direction and participate in activities without a parent on the deck. Half Lappers program is capped at 40 swimmers and will have a waitlist at the 41st swimmer or higher during registration. 

According to team league rules for MSBSC if you swim for a Club Swimmer like Dad's Club, Bridgebats or YMCA, your last day of practice with those organizations will be March 8 2026 if you want to be eligible for the MSBSC 2026 season.
